The festive season is here and it’s time to enjoy the many events taking place at this time of year – one of the most anticipated is the Vale do Lobo Christmas Market which is making a welcome return next month.
Promising another “great day of shopping, entertainment and fun for the family”, organisers say the 11th edition of the Christmas Market, taking place on Saturday, December 4, from 10am to 5.30pm, marks the official start of the festive season at the resort.
After a one-year break because of the pandemic, Vale do Lobo is delighted to announce the return of this traditional Christmas Market.
Over the years, this market has become a reference as one of the most awaited and traditional Christmas events in the region, with more than 1,000 registered visitors in previous editions and with several exhibitors already confirmed for this year. The market is popular for its exhibition area as well as wide range of entertainment for the whole family.
Say organisers: “This edition is particularly important for local producers and artisans who have seen their businesses severely affected by the pandemic and are now waiting for opportunities like this to boost their sales.”
Many local exhibitors will once again take part with a wide variety of products, including original gift ideas, gourmet products, fashion accessories and clothing, home décor items, crystals, cosmetics, jewellery, flowers and plants, greetings cards, books and toys, food and drinks from exclusive producers, and much, much more.
The event will take place in the Vale do Lobo Auditorium and surrounding areas of the Parque do Golfe complex, in a friendly and welcoming environment that ensures comfort and commodity, no matter the weather.
For children, there will also be many activities and surprises in store, with entertainment provided by Oficina de Sonhos which will ensure little ones have an unforgettable day.
The Vale do Lobo Christmas Market is organised in collaboration with Infralobo and Loulé Council. The Algarve Resident is proud to support this event.
Entrance is free. Funds raised from the sale of raffle tickets benefit the Wolf Valley Charity Fund Association.
