A used book sale organised by Linda Taylor Gonçalves of the now closed Griffin Bookshop is being held on the third week of each month in Almancil, with the next scheduled to take place from March 19 to March 23, between 10am and 5pm each day.
It will be located at the furniture shop Lírio do Campo, approximately 100 metres on the left of the Quarteira road from the Quatro Estradas roundabout.
Linda Taylor Gonçalves said: “I’ll have a wonderful selection of used books in all categories and a few new paperbacks too.
“I’ll be accepting used books for credit but limited to one carrier bag at a time as space is not unlimited! Prices are as reasonable as during the Griffin Bookshop days and I’ll still offer the service of hunting out desired titles for you.”
Among new books on offer will be Jean Auel’s latest instalment in her Earth’s Children series, Land of the Painted Caves, in paperback.
Alison Slater from Collections will also be at Lírio do Campo with her range of women’s fashion and new spring items, while Linda will also be selling some jars of her Chillidelicious range.
