Quinta da Tôr winery, located north of Loulé, will host two winemaking events “open to everyone” on September 7 and 14, and will also feature a wine tasting, a special lunch “with views to the vineyard” and poolside refreshments.
The events are included in the Loulé Criativo programme and will give locals and tourists alike an opportunity to visit the winery, participate in grape stomping, taste the wines that are made there and enjoy a delicious lunch. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a swim in the pool.
The events run from 8.30am to 6pm and cost €40, lunch included.
Also planned by Loulé Criativo is a breadmaking workshop at Loulé Coreto Hostel on Saturday, September 7 (cost €15) and a showcooking event on September 21 at the headquarters of the International Police Association in Loulé, focused on using figs, one of the Algarve’s most traditional ingredients, to create the almond-stuffed fig delights known as ‘figos cheios’ (cost €10).
