DO NOT miss the opportunity to soak up music from the 33-piece wind ensemble from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas, US, who will be performing at Portimão Auditorium on May 17, at 9.30pm.
Different tempos and genres, including classical, swing and jazz, promise to offer something for everyone. Proceeds from the concert will go to aid local bombeiros, Alvor children’s home Lar Bom Samaritano and the International Christian Fellowship Church, in Portimão. Tickets are priced at 10 euros and can be purchased from the Auditorium office.
In addition to this concert, they will also be playing in Portimão on the promenade between the old bridge and the Casa Inglesa on May 18 and 19, from 8.30pm, and there will be a matinee performance on May 20, at midday. Tickets will be available at the venue on the day of performance.
