A SEMINAR aimed at exploring ways of developing and using sustainable energy sources in urban areas is being held in Lisbon from September 14 to 16.
The Lisbon Câmara sponsored initiative will be organised in conjunction with the Municipal Energy Agency at the Agostinho da Silva Auditorium of the Lusófona University in Campo Grande, 376.
The first day’s programme will be devoted to Sustainable Mobility, while the second day will focus on the Built-Up Environment. The last day will be dedicated to Sustainable Construction. The three-day seminar follows a similar seminar hosted by the British Embassy in Lisbon in July, covered by The Resident. The current seminar promises to examine municipal and urban environmental issues from the Portuguese perspective.
Those interested in attending should write to the following address by September 7: Lisboa E-Nova, Rua dos Fanqueiros, Nº 38, 1º, 1100-231. Forms are available on the internet at www.lisboanova.org
