Updated Covid vax “could be approved in October”

The updated Covid vaccines that experts insist are needed for new variants/ strains “could be approved by October” when Pfizer’s vaccine against Omicron sub-types BA.4 and BA.5 (responsible for almost all current infections – almost all of which are mild) comes up for evaluation by EMA, the European Medicines Agency. The only really important message in this news is that current Covid vaccines really are now considered obsolete, whether or not authorities are still administering them.
