The family at the centre of the burglary that went so wrong in Vilamoura on Sunday night have left their €2 million villa in Volta do Pardal, and a family of 12 have moved in.
The information, given to the Resident by the UK’s Daily Mirror has been substantiated by Sky News, which claims Jill and Trevor Taylor and their 31-year-old son Scott “will not have gone far”.
But yesterday the PJ’s national director Pedro Mota Carmo told us the Scotts were at complete liberty to go wherever they liked, as long as they informed the PJ.
With the nation’s press and international reporters hanging on this story, the results of the autopsy are crucial.
They will determine whether Trevor and Scott Taylor used excessive force in restraining the burglar caught in the early hours of Sunday morning on their property, and this could lead to criminal charges.
For the full details of this story, see our reports of yesterday.
