Unpublished author puts book on Twitter

An American author who has yet to find a publisher for his book has come up with a novel idea to publish the book himself.

Matt Stewart from San Francisco has begun “tweeting” his first book, The French Revolution, on the blogging service website Twitter.

The website has been made famous by celebrities addicted to blogging their thoughts and opinions throughout the day.

Matt Stewart has chosen the website, which only allows 140 characters at a time, to be the first place where the public will be able to read his book.

Stewart said it would take approximately 3,700 “tweets” to transmit all of the 480,000 characters in his book.
