Unpasteurised goats cheese believed cause of Brucellosis outbreak

Unpasteurised goats cheese is once again believed to be responsible for an outbreak of Brucellosis that has so far affected over a dozen people in the northern town of Baião, (Porto) causing four to be hospitalised.
Health inspectors have already isolated at least one cheesemaker with animals thought to be responsible for the outbreak, and the infected goats have been destroyed.
Brucellosis is a bacterial infection, the effects of which can often be felt for life.
