The Campus, the multisports complex at resort Quinta do Lago, is hosting a series of “unmissable events” until the end of the year.
One of the most popular will begin this weekend (October 7-10): the W40 The Campus Carby Volkswagen Ladies Open, which has attracted several top 200 players and the best Portuguese players. One year after entering the International Tennis Federation (ITF) calendar as a $25,000 event, organisers have increased the total prize money to $40,000 in 2023.
The programme continues with a ‘Seasonal & sustainable eating Master class with Alice Rose Grinstead’, due to take place on Wednesday, October 18 at 2.30pm. Price is €30 for The Campus members and €40 for non-members.
The ‘Back to School’ initiative has made its return, allowing parents to sign their children up for three different sports for €100: tennis, golf and triathlon.
The Campus is also preparing for new editions of its sports camps for children, with a football training camp due to take place between October 23 and 27 led by former football star Shay Given as well as a dance camp scheduled for the same dates.
Last but not least, a ‘Scary Race’ is due to take place on October 30 to celebrate Halloween, while the sixth The Campus Tri Triathlon will be held on November 12.
More information on each event can be found on The Campus’ website.
