University of Coimbra creates Masters course for Chinese wanting to teach Portuguese

The University of Foreign Studies in Canton is creating a Master’s degree powered by Coimbra University to empower Chinese graduates who want to become teachers of Portuguese. The two-year course is expected to start in the next academic year (September 2016) and hopes to offer places to 20 students. The initiative is being set up in collaboration with the Polytechnic Institute of Macau, say reports.
