UAlg, the University of the Algarve, has been ranked among the world’s top 5.9% out of a total of 20,000 universities.
The accolade has been based on various aspects including ‘teaching quality, employability of former students, investigative prowess and quality of publications’.
Said the university in a statement, special focus was made of its investigative work which actually saw it ranked in position 1,120.
