With local politics limbering up everywhere for the municipal elections coming at the end of the month (September 26), Faro’s coalition “Unidos por Faro” – headed by Algarve MP Cristóvão Norte and two-term Faro mayor Rogério Bacalhau (both PSD) – is presenting its candidates at at an event in the cloisters of the municipal museum at 6pm today. Such is the focus in these elections in trying to recover PSD losses in the elections of 2017 that coalitions can be found in various municipalities. Unidos por Faro joins PSD, CDS-PP, IL, MPT and PPM.
