Cycling’s Tour of the Algarve gets under way at the Stadium of the Algarve on Wednesday (February 17).
The star-studded peloton, including Alberto Cantador (Astana) and Katusha sprint ace Robbie McEwen amongst 180 competitors representing 23 teams, will race from east to west over five days before crossing the finishing line in Portimao early next Sunday afternoon.
