Ukrainian community is now second largest in Portugal

Refugees that have been arriving in Portugal from Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion have seen to it that the nationality is now the second largest resident in Portugal behind Brazilians. Latest data from SEF shows that 18,400 have been granted temporary protection in the last turbulent weeks. Before the invasion, official figures pointed to 27,200 Ukrainians living in POrtugal. Now there are 45,500 and this is not a final tally by any means.
