MPs from Ukraine, addressing Portugal’s parliament via videolink this week, have invited counterparts in the Assembly of the Republic to Kyiv, “to see with their own eyes” the war crimes committed by Russia. “People will be able to see with their own eyes the towns and cities destroyed. They won’t be able to remain indifferent”. This would be “an historic visit” that could contribute to strengthening ties between the two countries, said MP Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze.
