BRITISH POWERBOAT racers Jackie Hunt and Mike Shelton were the guests of honour at an exclusive dinner on September 26 at the Boca do Rio Hotel in Mexilhoeira da Carregação.
Jackie Hunt and Mike Shelton gave an informative speech to the 34 guests at the dinner, which was organised by the British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (BPCC) and The Resident.

racing strategies and how they work as a team. When asked whether they have any superstitions before or during their races, Mike said: “No, we’re not superstitious, but Jackie always wears pink underwear during a race!”
Jackie spoke of her struggle to make herself respected as an equal powerboat racer in a male dominated sport and praised the phenomenal team that works with them.
