We spent Christmas with the family and grandchildren in Suffolk (UK) and spent three nights at the Premier Inn, Ipswich. We were overwhelmed by the wonderful service and friendliness of the Premier Inn staff. Nothing was too much trouble; we had my 88-year-old mother-in-law with us and whenever she sat down a cup of tea immediately appeared.
I have dined at many top rated restaurants but can honestly say that the food at the Premier Inn was as good as any I have eaten elsewhere.
There was a truly international flavour to our stay with the on-duty staff having originated in the Ukraine, Spain, Portugal and, of course, East Anglia. The Portuguese member of staff, Renata Marques, has become fully integrated in the local community and is studying Leisure and Tourism at the local college. These young people are a great credit to their national flags and they certainly helped to make our stay in the UK a memorable experience.
