Food delivery service Uber Eats has been launched in the Algarve.
Available in Faro, Olhão, Loulé and Quarteira, the smartphone app allows users to order food and have it delivered from a variety of restaurants and eateries.
The company says in a statement that the Uber Eats restaurant selection includes “favourites like Tertúlia Algarvia in Faro, 7 imeio in Olhão, 11 da Vila in Loulé and Burgers & Bowls in Quarteira, as well as an exclusive partnership with McDonald’s”.
But there are many other eateries available in the app.
Uber Eats promises quick deliveries, usually no longer than 30 minutes, at a cost of €2.90.
The app was already available in cities such as Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra and Braga before being launched in the Algarve.
