Ana Pinto de Oliveira is the current director of the Humanitarian Action graduate programme at UAlg
Ana Pinto de Oliveira, professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (FMCB) at the University of the Algarve (UAlg), has just been appointed to join the World Health Organization (WHO) – African Regional Immunisation Technical Advisory Group (RITAG).
The group comprises experts who provide the WHO regional directors and respective countries where it operates with recommendations on regional immunisation priorities and strategies based on epidemiological and social issues.
Ana Pinto de Oliveira is currently the director of the postgraduate course in Humanitarian Action at the University of Algarve. She works as a doctor in the public health area and has participated in several humanitarian missions over the last few years.
