Two workers, a Brazilian aged 28 and a Portuguese man aged 45, have died in a work accident at the Fratel dam in Nisa, Portalegre. The men were “working on an object suspended by a crane” which fell into the water, an official source from CDOS de Portalegre (the local centre for emergency operations) told Lusa. The accident happened shortly before 11am. Recovery of the bodies involved a number of emergency personnel.
