A car veered off the road in Vila do Conde early on Wednesday morning (July 19), killing two pedestrians – a man, 25, and a woman, 19 – who were walking along the town’s main avenue. The accident happened at around 4.23am on Avenida Infante D. Henrique.
PSP police identified the 23-year-old driver, who claims he has no idea how he lost control of the car.
