Two workers have been treated in hospital for smoke inhalation after fire broke out in the world’s “leading kayak factory” at Vila do Conde.
According to reports, neither worker is badly hurt.
There are no details of the damages caused to the NELO factory – in which €10 million is said to be invested.
The fire, which broke out at 9.20 this morning and was extinguished shortly afterwards, says Lusa.
