Two Bangladeshi workers killed in construction accident in Beja

Two Bangladeshi workers were killed today in the borough of Beja, when a wall under construction collapsed on top of them. The accident happened in Herdade dos Grous, in the union of parishes of Albernoa e Trindade around midday. Investigations are ongoing, including a report being compiled by ACT, the authority regulating work conditions. All that is known for now is that the men, aged 47 and 32, were employed by a company and “developing civil construction works when the wall collapsed”.
