Tuesday’s Covid bulletin has brought more ‘good news’ in that there are even fewer people in hospital in the last 24-hours, a fall in numbers in intensive care and ‘recoveries’ from people who have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 have exceeded the number of new cases found. In total, the last day of testing brought 386 new cases nationally (the majority as always in Lisbon and the north), and saw two people die. The number of active cases fell by 184 to 21,997. Of the 842,767 people who have contracted the virus since the start of the pandemic, 17,011 have died – a percentage of 2.01%.
