Last week the International Property Awards (IPA) for Europe were held at the Marriot Hotel in London where over 300 people from across Europe enjoyed a champagne reception and gala dinner as they awaited the announcement of the 2023 winners.
The IPA awards are renowned all over the world as a mark of excellence and are split into regions to cover Europe, UK, USA, Africa, Asia Pacific, Arabia, Canada, Caribbean and Central and South America.
Open to residential and commercial property professionals, they celebrate the achievements of the companies operating in the property industry and each year a distinguished panel, of over 50 industry experts, judges the submissions based on criteria such as innovation, creativity, sustainability and overall design excellence. Developers, builders, architects, estate agents, interior designers, public relations and advertising agencies all work hard to win one of these coveted awards.
This year, three Portuguese companies walked away with five 5* star awards after their creative design agency TSS Design, based in Loulé, submitted their clients’ entries to the Development Award Category.
Although the Awards naturally go to their clients for their top-quality projects, TSS Design is honoured to have been responsible for the production of their clients’ publicity materials and project books that showcase not only the properties, but their own design work thus validating the creativity, technical proficiency and attention to details that the TSS team provide.
TSS Design’s managing director Maxine Costa and Jessica Owen, production manager, attended the awards on behalf of their clients.
Maxine said: “We felt so proud to be part of such a prestigious event, representing not only three of our clients but also TSS Design and our innovative approach to design and marketing has now given us the recognition of being an accredited Creative Graphic Design agency officially recommended by the International Property Awards to aid in creating entry portfolios. We, therefore, hope to offer our expertise and guidance to many more clients who may be thinking of participating in next year’s awards.”
Jessica explained: “No matter how big or small the design project may be, our mission is to ensure that our clients’ goals and objectives are not only met but are exceeded in all marketing and design, whether it is for a small brochure or even an award-winning project book!”

- Libertas Group won two awards:
Best Residential Development 20+ Units Portugal – for Albufeira Design Residences
Best Apartment / Condominium Development Portugal – for Albufeira Green Apartments
- Fercopor based in Porto won:
Best Apartment / Condominium Portugal – for Enlight apartment condominium in Porto.
Both Villatura and Enlight also won nominations for best in their Category for Europe.
