MATT ROBINSON, a 17-year-old from the US, accidentally shot himself in the heart with a nail gun – and survived.
The gun slipped and his finger hit the trigger, which sent the three-inch nail straight into his right ventricle. The only reason he lives to tell the tale is because he left the nail in his heart until surgeons at the hospital removed it. He recovered quickly from surgery and was walking about two days later.
