AS A finale to the year long celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of Mozart’s birth, Friends of the Museum in São Brás held a tribute to his work on January 13.
International performers, Birgit Wegemann (soprano) and baritone Armando Possante (accompanied by Irene Ainstein on the piano), who all live in the Algarve, sang arias and duets from The Magic Flute, Così Fan Tutte, The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni.
Birgit will return to the Museum on February 3, for a recital from the works of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill.
