FARO CÂMARA President, José Apolinário marked tree week on March 17 by planting two orange trees with the help of children from the Escola do Carmo kindergarten.
Tree week took place between March 14 to 21 and Faro Câmara also planted a further 170 trees in various schools, which were offered by the weekly Portuguese magazine Visão. Since December, a further 289 trees bought by the Câmara have also been planted throughout Faro city.
