Lagos zoo is celebrating the official arrival of spring and Tree Day on March 21 by inviting visitors to plant tree seeds in the gardens.
Entry to the zoo will be reduced to five euros per person throughout the day, with a variety of activities being organised for visitors to take part in, including the planting of tree seeds.
Renowned Portuguese actress Maria João Abreu will also be at the zoo to plant a tree in the gardens.
