The American rapper had not performed for two years
The Rolling Loud festival (July 5-7) in Praia da Rocha, Portimão, has already been described as “unforgettable” by those who attended the first day.
Hip-hop fans who came from all over the world to watch the performance of over 60 Hip-Hop artists and the headliners Travis Scott, Playboi Carti and Meek Mill couldn’t be happier to see their musical idols perform in a beach setting enjoying the warm climate.

The first day featured Portuguese artists Profjam and the Wet Bed Gang performing on the Loud Punx Stage and the festival’s headliner, Travis Scott, on the main stage to close the night. After two years of not performing in public, the American rapper made the crowd cheer, jump and sing along to his songs.
Even though it was only the beginning of the “largest hip-hop festival in the world”, as the organisation describes it, Travis Scott’s concert made the three-day event already memorable for fans who were more than eager to see him perform.

His concert happens a week after he found out he will not face criminal charges for the crushing deaths of 10 people at his Astroworld festival performance in 2021, held in Houston, a decision made by a Texas state grand jury.
Despite the case has come to what is believed to be the end, both the artist and the Astroworld festival organisation are also the target of several lawsuits filed by relatives of the victims.
