THE BALEARIC Island’s newest attraction, the 20 million pound Palma Aquarium, has already installed a family of 12 sharks into Europe’s largest fish tank, the ‘Big Blue’.
The aquarium has been slowly welcoming fishy residents from all over the world during the winter months. When it is finally fully occupied, the park, which comprises 55 aquariums, will be home to 8,000 specimens of 700 different species living in five million litres of seawater.
