Train services face another solid month of disruptions

Anyone planning any kind of journey should scratch out the option of ‘going by train’ for the next month: Portugal’s ‘incumbent rail operator CP has warned of disruption in services’ until one minute before midnight on July 5, writes Lusa, tempering the news with the assurance that strike action this time (unions have been striking throughout the year…) is only partial. That said, the services expected to be cancelled are all the ‘key ones’: the Alfa Pendular, Intercity, International, InterRegional and Regional and urban services in Lisbon, Porto and Coimbra.
