Around 30 commuters escaped unharmed from a train which derailed between Olhão and Fuzeta on Monday afternoon. The cause of the derailment is unclear.
All that has been revealed is that the accident caused only material damage, with all passengers luckily avoiding injury.
The rail line was closed for hours to clear debris.
