TWO PORTUGUESE workers died after they fell 30 metres when part of the bridge they worked on collapsed in the northern district of Braga.
One died at the scene after the incident last Wednesday, while the other died at the hospital later that day after spending three hours in surgery.
Work was suspended on the bridge to allow investigators to determine the reasons for the collapse.
