AS PART of the international celebrations, the British Community of Lisbon is organising a dinner for the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar (October 21, 1805).
The event will take place at Museu da Marinha in Belém, opposite the Belém Cultural Centre, in the large hall of the Royal Barges, on Friday, October 21, at 8pm for 8.30pm. There is plenty of parking space available nearby. The dinner will be presided over by His Excellency the British Ambassador, Mr. John Buck.
The price is 60 euros per person and includes pre dinner drinks, a full hot and cold buffet, accompanied by wine, port and soft drinks, and an open bar afterwards. There will be music by the Portuguese Navy Band. Tables will be for 10 people and dress will be dinner jacket (and decorations) or dark lounge suit.
