FOR THE 15th consecutive year, a fair dedicated to local flavours and traditions of the Monchique hills will take place at the municipal heliport on March 1 and 2.
The Feira dos Enchidos Tradicionais da Serra de Monchique will feature stalls with some of the region’s best firewater, medronho, as well as honey and crafts made by locals.
Visitors will also be able to sample sweet and savoury dishes, while singers and bands take to the stage to entertain. There will be more than 50 stalls promoting local produce and business.
