TWO CENTRES for the recycling and correct disposal of dangerous industrial waste were inaugurated on Wednesday (June 4) by the Ministry of the Environment in the Freguesia de Carregueira, Chamusca, near Santarém.
More than 300,000 tonnes of dangerous industrial waste, which is produced every year in Portugal, will now be sent to the two new centres.
The project to construct the two centres represents a total investment of 50 million euros and is expected to create around 100 jobs.
