The Algarve’s 21 tourism offices have been awarded quality certificates by ISO, the International Organisation for Standardisation.
Tourism boss Desidério Silva said it was with “great joy” that the RTA heard the news.
“The certification would not have been achieved without the work and professionalism of all our workers,” he said.
Since 2007, the RTA had been working to bring its offices up to the European standards. The next goal, according to the board, is to obtain these certificates for the RTA’s headquarters in Faro.
