Tourism revenues increase

Revenue generated from foreign tourists in Portugal rose 8.1% in January over the same period in 2010, to a total of more than €403 million.

According to the Bank of Portugal, and quoted by Lusa news agency, the revenue growth in the first month of the year occurred in most key markets, especially the French, Dutch and Italian.

Other markets that are growing are the Brazilian and US, which rose more than 30%.
