Sagres-based five star resort Martinhal has been designated as a resort of interest to the tourism sector by the national tourism board Turismo de Portugal.
Chitra Stern, from Martinhal, said: “It is with enormous pride and satisfaction that we receive this declaration that comes to recognise the quality of our project and its contribution to the development of the tourism offer in Sagres.”
The Martinhal resort is due to be complete in April 2010 and includes a variety of facilities including conference rooms and a spa.
