Tourism budget

A total budget of 6.75 million euros has been approved for the Algarve Tourism Association (ATA) for 2010.

As well as the budget, which was approved during the general assembly on January 29, this year’s plan of activities for the association was also agreed upon, mainly in the areas of golf, residential tourism, the meeting industry, culture, and health and wellbeing.

This year, ATA has said that it will be focusing on diversifying its target markets, promoting new products in niche markets and capitalising on new routes from Faro airport, among others.
