April is a busy month at the cruise line port of Portimão.
Eight liners are scheduled to dock at Portimão during the month and it is predicted that a total of 64 ships will be stopping there until the end of November, a 23% growth compared to last year.
Six thousand tourists and 2,400 crew are expected to visit the town this month to help boost the local economy.
