The Algarve regional tourism entity (ERTA) will receive €5.8 million funding this year which amounts to an increase of €1.6 million from 2012, the biggest rise for five years. President of ERTA, Desidério Silva, who last week met with various representatives of the tourism sector, said the increase will enable the creation of conditions to achieve the Algarve’s tourism objectives.
