A GERMAN woman drove her son to the jewellery store he intended to rob because she did not want to see him come to any harm.
The mother of five sat in the getaway car, while her son and two others stabbed and robbed the jeweller, in Dresden. She was arrested and sentenced to three years and 10 months in prison.
