After being inundated with requests from Spurs fans Ryanair announced an extra return flight from London Stansted to Lisbon for Tottenham’s Europa League quarter-final with Benfica on Thursday March 20.
In addition, the cost of the easyJet flight from Southend into Faro on the same day has risen sharply as fans look for alternative ways of getting to Lisbon.
The first-leg is at White Hart Lane on March 13.
Benfica defeated Greek side PAOK 4-0 on aggregate whilst Spurs came from behind to edge out Ukrainian side Dnipro 3-2 on aggregate.
Spurs fans in the Algarve looking for tickets should visit their local Casa do Benfica Café as there will be a number of coaches travelling to the game. There are 13 Benfica cafés in the region including in Faro, Loulé, Albufeira, Olhão, Tavira and VRSA.
