A PANCAKE Day extravaganza is being held at the Hotel Garbe in Armação de Pêra on February 20.
Pancake races will begin at 11am on the beach, in front of the hotel. There will be separate races for little toddlers, big toddlers and children of all ages.
Adults will also get the chance to race and prizes will be given to each winner. Each race costs one euro.
Following all this exercise, pancakes for eating will be available inside the hotel. You can choose from an assortment of delicious sweet and savoury fillings, which will each be priced at 1.50 and 2.50 euros respectively.
All proceeds from the event will go towards the Associação de Protecção Animal do Algarve’s (APAA) animal speying and neutering campaign.
