According to Lagoa Câmara, 223 properties were damaged as a result of the extreme weather and tornado that swept through parts of the Algarve on November 16. However, so far only 35 properties are eligible to receive assistance from the government, according to Lagoa Mayor José Inácio. He gave a timely reminder that the application period for help from the State ends on December 31.
