The 13th consecutive edition of the Sir Henry Cotton International Amateur Golf Tournament is taking place throughout this week at the Le Meridien Penina Golf & Resort and Palmares courses.
Named in honour of the former English great and Penina architect credited with launching the golf boom in the Algarve during the 1960s, this prestigious competition which reaches its seven-day climax on Sunday, is open to all non-professionals able to meet a minimum handicap requirement and enjoys great popularity.
