The new FC Porto boss Sérgio Conceição, who started his managerial career at SC Olhanense five years ago, returns to the Algarve on July 27 when last season’s Primeira Liga runners-up face newly-promoted Portimonense – kick-off 8.30pm. Next Thursday (July 20) at the Estádio do Algarve, reigning Primeira Liga champions Benfica meet La Liga outfit Real Betis (Seville) – kick-off 8.30pm. Two nights later (July 22) Benfica play Hull City at the Stadium – kick-off 8.30pm.
